Текст Happy Ol’ McWeasel — Good Deeds

I wonder how it came to this,
The mannered lad I am.
But every time I tried to help
It all went straight to hell!
It doesn’t matter, how I plea,
I swear that I meant well.
«Good deeds, ya see, are not for free»
I’m crying from my cell!

Central station — underground,
I waited undercover.
Then granny came and carried bags,
Big as the Eiffel tower.
I gave a hand and held the bags
She slowly stepped aside, when suddenly
«She slipped, ya see!»
And vanished from my sight.

I meant no harm
No disrespect
No bloody thing as such
Should I just chill
Relax sit still?
Am I asking for to much?

Now that’s the truth about the day
And how it came to be,
That good ol’ granny carrying bags,
Was cut to pieces three.
Well now something you should know before
You hang me on that tree.
«All those bags, ya see, that carried she»
Were my stolen proper-ty

I meant no harm
No disrespect
No bloody thing as such
Should I just chill
Relax sit still?
Am I asking for to much?

I meant no harm
No disrespect
No bloody thing as such
Should I just chill
Relax sit still?
Am I asking for to much?

I meant no harm
No disrespect
No bloody thing as such
Should I just chill
Relax sit still?
Am I asking for too much?

Asking for too much

Just want to chill
Relax sit still
Asking for too much
