Текст Thomas Mac — Tacipsy
Three hundred sixteen years ago
One pile of dirt and ten feet below
He gave up his damn sould for her
And at midnight when them stars come out
She swears she can see him walking around
And every body in that little town
Started spreading the word
Don’t Go to Tacipsy
If you ever end up dpown south
Unless you want the memory
Of the dead walking about
He’s long gone but he’s
Still hanging around
Don’t Go to Tacipsy
It’s a ghost town
She got a lot less crazy for a couple of moons
Till a man from nowhere in a dark red suit
Heard about the rumors
Came passing through and found her
He said honey I can bring your souls back together
And make all that pain feel a little bit better
You can walk with your love forever
Now this might hurt
Don’t Go to Tacipsy
If you ever end up dpown south
Unless you want the memory
Of the dead and walking about
He’s long gone but she’s
Still hanging around
Don’t Go to Tacipsy
It’s a ghost town
Now back in ’63 the town went up in flames
And where it used to be there’s an interstate
But every once in a while when it’s late
The car breaks down
And there’s rumors ’bout the shadow of a woman and a man
Walking down the highway holding hands
Some say they’re looking for the Promised Land
But I think they prefer the south
Don’t Go to Tacipsy
If you ever end up dpown south
Unless you want the memory
Of the dead and walking about
They’re both long gone but they’re
Still hanging around
Don’t Go to Tacipsy
It’s a ghost town
